12. Hedgeetta does not mind the hoglets being handled now that they have their eyes open. They can be safely handled when they have their eyes open and they are crawling out of the nest. If you try to handle them before this time you might upset the mother hedgehog and she could hurt the hoglets. Be very cautious!!
