G. This hedgehog can be 6 to 11 inches (15-28 cm) long and can weigh 14 to 18 ounces (400-500g). It is thinner and stands higher on its legs. The snout is sharply pointed and it has large pointed ears. The large ears help it to cool itself in the heat. The back is cream-colored spines with the face being white or brownish in color. The legs and tail are white. The belly is light brown to white and the feet are gray-brown.
